do i still have a heart that exists in this world? | @indigently
(Dan Heng nearly finds himself frowning, the reactions given to them having to fly was unexpected. Did he expect them to not have remedies and the like for such things? If they go on foot, it will cause some manner of problems knowing the Mara-Struck are all over the place and lay waiting for unsuspecting travelers in all forms. From there or not, even as he knits his brows together, how does he go about solving this? Maybe offer his condolences and just take one for the team? For the best perhaps once he fidgets about with something, maybe what medicine he has for this occasion to aid him though he’s unsure on how it might affect his body given it is from another land.)
Try this, it should ease your stomach if you get motion sickness then. (Focusing on the rough part of it first is best before they talk about anything else after making sure the other takes the medicine offered to him. Even if he is still mulling over what the blonde is called, where he could have come from knowing he looks far more different than their usual guests.)
You may also lean on me for aid, but I only ask you don’t vomit on me if the medicine doesn’t work. This is our only path through here, if we go on foot there leaves too many chances for ambushes and the like from the Mara-Struck or perhaps worse. (And he would not allow this to go south knowing that one of them is hardly in any condition to fight. Were it not for that Dan Heng would have accepted the longer way, going on foot to reach their destination even as he helps the blonde carefully on board the skiff to not let him fall or stumble about. It’s best not to dally about for too long while they had this opening, nor did he want to learn if they were waiting to strike again.)
